3rd Winchester Scout Group

Area Served: The Worthies (the 2 electoral Wards of Kings Worthy; and Itchen Valley)
Beavers: 2 Colonies
Cubs: 2 Cub Packs
Scouts: 2 Troops
Web Site: http://3rdwinscouts.org.uk/*

Our lively group with a long and successful history is based in its own HQ. With Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts making up the group with leaders and non-uniform supporters, it is a testimony to scouting being a part of the local community.

The group welcomes girls and boys and enjoys taking part in local events as well as making regular contributions to district events where the youngsters get the opportunity to meet up with other scouts around the Winchester area. They also make every effort to take advantage of events organised further afield making them a truly "all round" group giving their scouts a balanced programme of fun, activity and challenge.

The group is always ready to welcome new members, especially adults and the above link will help you to find out more the group.

How to use these numbers: Focus on the Vacancies number. Then look to the Joining List number (those of joining age for that section registered ahead of you). It is better to APPLY to Scout Groups with high Vacancies and low Joining Lists. Use the Scout Group locator on the left to find the Groups closest to you by area. When you find the Group that best fits your needs, click the blue APPLY HERE icon to make your Registration of Interest (above left). Improve your chances of an offer by volunteering as a parent for an adult role. Some Groups may require this.

The closest Groups are the 13th & 14th (click on their neckers below).
